Our story
Two Cuisines, One Kitchen
Nori was born from a simple belief — that the precision of Japanese sushi and the bold, communal spirit of Korean cooking belong on the same table.
Where It All Began
Nori Sushi & Korean opened its doors in Temple, Texas with a vision that felt unconventional at first: pair the meditative craft of sushi with the vibrant, fermented depth of Korean cuisine. The two traditions share more than most people realize — a reverence for fresh ingredients, a respect for technique, and a belief that food is meant to be shared.
Our chefs trained in both disciplines, spending years perfecting the roll and the banchan side by side. The result is a menu that lets you move seamlessly from a delicate nigiri to a sizzling Korean BBQ plate without ever feeling like you've left the same culinary world.
We are proud to call Temple home. This community deserves a dining experience that is thoughtful, generous, and a little unexpected — and that is exactly what we set out to build.
